Job summary

The Salvation Army Employment Plus is seeking Allied Health professionals to support job seekers across Gippsland, including Moe, Morwell and Traralgon. Roles are open to Psychologists (Provisional or Registered) or Social Workers, with travel across multiple sites expected.

We offer supervision and development for provisional and new registrants, plus opportunities to advance within our supportive, values-driven team. AHPRA or AASW credentials are required for eligibility.

Qualifications

• AHPRA registration as a Psychologist or current AASW membership required.
• Experience with mental health, complex psycho-social needs, and counselling delivery.
• Provisional psychologists eligible for supervision and eventual full registration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological and vocational assessments for referred job seekers.
• Deliver counselling and therapeutic interventions to address barriers.
• Provide consultation to employment staff in the Gippsland region.
• Liaise with internal and external service providers to strengthen networks.
• Communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
