Job summary

NSW Health at St George Hospital is seeking a temporary part-time Registered Nurse in the Prostate Brachytherapy Research program. You will coordinate clinical and treatment data, maintain the REDCap database, and work with an interdisciplinary team to support research, quality improvement and patient care.

You will perform patient interactions, administer validated questionnaires and contribute to evidence-based practice while delivering person-centred care in a busy cancer care setting.

Qualifications

• Registered with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse/Midwife.
• Experience in oncological clinical settings preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work within an interdisciplinary team.
• Proven ability to use health information systems and REDCap.
• Commitment to person-centred care and evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and research support to the prostate brachytherapy service.
• Coordinate collection of demographic, treatment and toxicity data.
• Maintain a prostate brachytherapy clinical database (REDCap).
• Support multidisciplinary team in research, service evaluation and quality improvement.
