Fresh Hope Communities seeks a Property Services Supervisor to deliver high-quality property services at our East Maitland site. You will lead maintenance, manage contractors, and drive preventative programs to maintain a safe, welcoming home environment for residents.

With 5–7 years in facilities or maintenance, you will coordinate budgets, ensure compliance, and support a values-driven culture focusing on resident wellbeing and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Building trade or property maintenance qualification or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years' experience in facilities or maintenance management.
• Experience supervising maintenance teams and coordinating contractors.
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
• Experience using systems to monitor maintenance activities, assets and compliance.
• Current Driver Licence and suitability for aged care criminal history check (or willingness to obtain).

Responsabilités

• Ensure high standards of presentation, cleanliness and property services across the site.
• Lead preventative maintenance programs and oversee maintenance requests to ensure planned, tracked, and timely completion.
• Contribute to annual maintenance budgets, refurbishment planning and capital works delivery.
• Identify improvements to reduce risk, improve efficiency, save costs and enhance resident experience.
• Manage contractors and maintenance staff to ensure high-quality service and adherence to standards.
• Ensure compliance with property services, WHS, building and fire safety requirements.
• Foster a person-centred approach reflecting Fresh Hope Communities’ values.

The vision for the site is to establish places and spaces that enable residents, family members, staff, and the wider community to gather and experience health, wellbeing, comfort, enjoyment, independence, dignity and belonging together. We're looking for a Property Services Supervisor to help us achieve this vision and deliver high-quality property services for the site.

• Permanent - Full Time, 38 hours per week position located in East Maitland, NSW at our beautiful Green Hills Residential Site

Responsibilities

• Ensuring high standards of presentation, cleanliness and property services are maintained across the site
• Leading preventative maintenance programs and overseeing maintenance request processes to ensure works are planned, tracked and completed in a timely manner
• Contributing to annual maintenance budgets, refurbishment planning and the delivery of capital works projects in line with organisational priorities
• Identifying and implementing property improvements that reduce risk, improve efficiency, save costs and enhance the resident experience
• Managing contractors and maintenance staff to ensure high-quality service delivery, effective communication and adherence to agreed performance standards
• Ensuring compliance with all property services, work health and safety, building and fire safety requirements
• Fostering a person-centred approach that reflects Fresh Hope Communities’ values and recognises that this is residents’ home

The Essentials

• Building trade qualification, property maintenance qualification, or equivalent relevant experience
• 5-7 years' experience managing facilities, property services or maintenance operations
• Demonstrated technical skills in building maintenance and asset management
• Experience supervising maintenance teams and coordinating contractors
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
• Ability to identify issues, troubleshoot and implement practical solutions
• Experience using systems to monitor maintenance activities, assets and compliance requirements
• Current Driver Licence
• Current Criminal History Check suitable for aged care, or willingness to obtain one
