Job summary

JMW Real Estate in Dunsborough, WA is seeking an experienced Residential Property Manager to join our boutique agency. You will take over an established portfolio and deliver exceptional service to landlords and tenants, with support from the business owners.

Your role includes tenant screening, rent collection, inspections, PCRs, and ensuring WA compliance. You will build lasting relationships, coordinate maintenance, and work autonomously within a friendly team.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience managing a residential portfolio.
• WA Property Management Registration or Real Estate Licence required.
• Knowledge of WA Residential Tenancies Act.
• Current Australian driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong landlord and tenant relationships.
• Manage full tenancy lifecycle from start to end.
• Process rental applications and prepare tenancy agreements.
• Oversee rent collection and trust account administration.
• Prepare PCRs and conduct routine inspections.
• Coordinate property maintenance with contractors.
• Ensure compliance with legislation and industry requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity to take over an established, well-maintained residential portfolio, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional service to both landlords and tenants.

Key Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with landlords and tenants.
• Managing the full tenancy lifecycle, from commencement through to vacate.
• Processing rental applications, selecting tenants and preparing tenancy agreements.
• Managing rent collection, landlord disbursements and trust account administration.
• Preparing comprehensive Property Condition Reports (PCRs) and conducting routine inspections.
• Coordinating property maintenance and liaising with contractors.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and industry requirements.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of two years’ experience managing a residential property portfolio.
• Current Western Australian Property Management Registration or Real Estate Licence is essential.
• Sound knowledge of the WA Residential Tenancies Act and relevant compliance requirements.
• Valid and current Australian driver’s licence.
