Job summary

Horizon Housing Realty is seeking experienced Property Managers to deliver high-quality property management across our Victoria portfolio, based in Prahran or Brighton. You will steward relationships with owners, tenants, contractors, and internal teams while ensuring regulatory compliance and outstanding service.

This role emphasizes proactive management, accurate record-keeping, and a commitment to community-focused housing outcomes, with some flexibility to support inspections and tenancy

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in a property management role.
• Strong knowledge of Residential Tenancies Act and tenancy legislation.
• Knowledge of landlord insurance processes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and customer service skills.
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail.
• Current Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of properties and build strong relationships with owners, tenants, contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee tenancy and financial management including rent collection, arrears, bonds, leases and reviews.
• Coordinate inspections, maintenance and tenancy activities to ensure positive outcomes.
• Manage stakeholder enquiries, complaints and QCAT matters, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with legislation and policies.

The Opportunity

We are looking for experienced and motivated Property Managers to join our team in Victoria, with positions available based in either Prahran or Brighton.

As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high quality property management services across the Horizon Housing Realty portfolio. You will play a key role in maintaining strong relationships with owners, tenants, applicants, contractors, and internal stakeholders, while ensuring all property management activities comply with relevant legislation, regulations, organisational policies, and procedures.

About You

You'll be organised, proactive, solutions-focused, and confident managing competing priorities. Most importantly, you'll understand the importance of quality housing and be committed to achieving positive outcomes for tenants, owners, and the broader community.

You’ll bring:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar property management role
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act and relevant tenancy legislation
• Knowledge of landlord insurance processes
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skillsExcellent organisational and administrative skills, with strong attention to detail.
• A current Driver's Licence

Work Arrangements

These are full-time, Monday to Friday positions. While the standard working week is Monday to Friday, some flexibility to work Saturdays will be required from time to time to support property inspections, tenancy requirements, and operational needs.

Positions are available based in Prahran or Brighton, with multiple opportunities available.
