Job summary

HESTA is seeking an Investment Manager – Property to oversee the Property investment program, shape asset class strategy, and lead a team of Associates. Reporting to the General Manager – Property, you will manage external relationships, govern investments, and collaborate across the unlisted assets platform.

This role emphasizes governance and delivering value for members. Experience in origination, due diligence, and direct investments is essential, as is the ability to lead cross-functional

Qualifications

• Significant investment experience in the Property sector, including origination, due diligence, execution and management of co-investments or direct investments.
• Experience analysing fund managers and multi-manager investment portfolios.
• Technical investment analysis skills.
• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and workstreams within strict deadlines across a range of investment transaction deliverables.
• Experience developing investment governance and approval frameworks for direct investments.
• A collaborative approach to working with people and the ability to lead and develop a team of Associates.

Responsibilities

• Participate in development of Property asset class investment strategy and present to the Investment Committee as required.
• Manage new investment commitments in the Property asset class, including sourcing and executing opportunities.
• Lead management and monitoring of external investment relationships and performance.
• Work with Responsible Investment team to implement ESG policies within the Property portfolio.
• Lead and develop a team of Associates, including performance development and coaching.
