Job summary

Lake Macquarie City Council is seeking a commercially minded Property Development Coordinator to lead the Property Development team and drive opportunities across acquisitions, divestments and redevelopment, enhancing portfolio value for the council and community.

You will manage the full development cycle, coordinate budgets and stakeholders, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Degree qualifications in property or related discipline.
• Extensive experience leading and managing a team of specialists.
• Experience in development feasibility studies and coordination of land subdivision and property development projects.
• Knowledge of statutory provisions relating to land dealings and local government property administration.
• Experience leading project teams and presenting to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated experience acquiring land or interests in land under relevant law.
• Current NSW Class C Driver’s Licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead Council’s Property Development team with a strategic, commercial approach to operational holdings.
• Identify and progress acquisition, divestment and redevelopment opportunities to improve portfolio value.
• Coordinate projects across the full development cycle from site selection to sale.
• Manage budgets, consultants and contractors while fostering a high-performing team culture.
