Job summary

Crawford and Company is seeking a Property Claims Consultant in Sydney to manage a portfolio of property claims from lodgement to resolution and to support customers throughout the claims process.

You will review documentation, investigate claims and liaise with customers, insurers and service providers while building your claims expertise. A 1+ year background in claims and a relevant certificate support progression within Crawford.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in claims, general insurance or a similar claims-focused role.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Confidence managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive, proactive approach and willingness to continue learning.
• Previous exposure to property claims.
• Experience working within an insurer, loss adjuster or claims management environment.
• Certificate IV in Loss Adjusting or a General Insurance-related qualification

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of property claims from lodgement through to resolution
• Supporting and guiding customers throughout the claims process
• Reviewing claim documentation, policies and coverage information
• Investigating claims and gathering relevant information
