Job summary

Built is seeking a Project Engineer in Melbourne to lead the coordination of design and construction activities on mixed projects. You will deliver projects on time, within budget, and with strong stakeholder engagement.

You will work with senior teams to manage design documentation, procure trades, and track progress across on-site and off-site components. A tertiary qualification in Building/Construction Management or Civil Engineering is essential, with hands-on construction experience.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Building/Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• Experience in building/construction roles precedents to Project Engineer.
• Ability to facilitate change and make decisions.
• Demonstrates ability to delegate, mentor and encourage the team to achieve its goals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost reports and manage project cost control.
• Design management and review against project budget.
• Management of subcontract conditions and procurement of trades.
• Assist in managing target programmes and issue programme reports.
• Identify and acquire project resources as required.
• Support senior team with risk, goals and opportunities.
