Job summary

Paxus Australia Pty Ltd. is seeking a capable Project Support Officer to join a Queensland Government contract opportunity in Brisbane.

You will provide day-to-day project coordination and administrative support to a major digital transformation program aimed at modernising workforce management and improving service delivery across the statewide organisation. Working with the Project Director and team, you will help keep activities organised, governance maintained, and key deliverables on track,

Qualifications

• Experience in a Project Support Officer, Project Administrator or similar coordination role.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to maintain project documentation and records.
• Proactive approach to problem solving and working with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders across business areas.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day project activities and provide general project administration support.
• Prepare meeting agendas, papers, minutes and maintain action registers.
• Maintain project documentation, schedules, registers and artefacts.
• Support project governance activities and monitor actions and milestones.
• Assist with procurement, financial and general administrative activities.
• Coordinate correspondence and support communication with key stakeholders.
• Liaise with senior leaders, regional teams and business representatives.
• Provide administrative and coordination support to the Project Director and wider project team.
