Due to continued growth across our project and contract services portfolio, AWB is seeking an experienced Project Supervisor to join our Adelaide team. This is a hands‑on supervisory role suited to an experienced construction professional who enjoys managing multiple projects, coordinating trades and subcontractors, solving problems and taking ownership of works from initial scope through to successful completion. You won’t be stuck behind a desk. On any given day, you could be attending a site to scope upcoming works, coordinating trades and subcontractors, reviewing project progress, meeting with clients, completing safety inspections or working through the next stage of a project.
The role will report to the Contract Services Manager and will have responsibility for coordinating and supervising internal trades and external subcontractors across multiple trade disciplines. AWB's current Supervisor position includes responsibility for quoting, scheduling, site supervision, safety and compliance, quality, handover and defect management.
As a Project Supervisor, you will take ownership of a diverse portfolio of building, refurbishment and minor works projects throughout metropolitan Adelaide and, from time to time, regional South Australia. You will be responsible for planning and coordinating works, ensuring the right resources are available, managing subcontractors and internal trades, maintaining strong client communication and ensuring every project is delivered safely, professionally, on time, within budget and to AWB's quality standards.
The broader AWB Projects function places a strong emphasis on coordinating internal and external resources and delivering projects within agreed scope, time and budget constraints. This is an opportunity for someone who likes variety and autonomy. You'll be expected to make decisions, identify issues before they become problems and work collaboratively with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and the wider AWB team to keep projects moving.
We're looking for someone who is practical, organised and commercially aware, with the confidence to take ownership of projects and build strong working relationships with clients and trades.
