Job summary

Mallesons is seeking a driven banking & finance solicitor to join our high-performing project finance team in Sydney. You will gain hands-on experience on infrastructure and energy financings, and work closely with partners Amy Maguire and Andrew Maynes who specialise in complex transactions.

This role offers direct client exposure and the opportunity to deepen your technical capability across deal structuring, execution and negotiation from early-stage structuring through to closing.

Qualifications

• You will have: 2-4 years' PQE in a banking & finance team ideally with project finance or structured finance experience.
• Strong drafting skills and attention to detail.
• Commercial judgement and an interest in how projects are structured and funded.
• a clear interest in building a career in project finance

Responsibilities

• Advise on acquisitions, refinancings and new financings for major projects.
• Work on deal structuring, execution and negotiation from early-stage to closing.
• Collaborate with partners and clients across lenders, sponsors and borrowers.
