Job summary

Mallesons, a leading Australian firm, is seeking a Solicitor (2-4 PQE) or Senior Associate with banking and finance experience to join its market-leading team in Sydney. You will work on complex transactions, drafting facilities, intercreditor agreements and security documents, and assisting on restructurings and capital transactions.

You will mentor junior lawyers and contribute to client relationships and business development in a collaborative, high-performance culture.

Qualifications

• Strong drafting and analytical skills.
• Experience in leveraged, acquisition or corporate finance transactions.
• Commercial judgement and practical approach.

Responsibilities

• Advise lenders, borrowers, sponsors and corporates on financing transactions.
• Draft and negotiate facility agreements, intercreditor arrangements and security documents.
• Assist on refinancings, private capital transactions and debt restructurings.
• Manage key transaction workstreams and drive deal execution.
