Job summary

EML Group in Sydney is seeking a Project Specialist to lead strategic and operational projects from initiation to delivery. The role offers a hybrid work pattern and a base in the Sydney George Street office with flexibility to work from home.

The ideal candidate will coordinate diverse initiatives, engage stakeholders across teams, and drive measurable outcomes while maintaining strong governance and reporting standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience coordinating or delivering projects, programs or continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively across multiple teams.
• Highly organised with excellent planning, prioritisation and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing reports, presentations and business documentation.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans, business documentation, reporting and governance artefacts to support effective project delivery and decision-making.
• Support the development and delivery of agency initiatives, events, programs and Mutual Benefits projects that deliver measurable value and outcomes for agency partners.
• Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships, facilitating collaboration, engagement and the successful implementation of initiatives.
• Support continuous improvement and change initiatives by identifying trends, risks and opportunities and contributing to innovative solutions across the portfolio.

The purpose of this role is to support the design, delivery and evaluation of strategic and operational initiatives that improve stakeholder experience, service delivery, worker outcomes and organisational performance.

The Project Specialist provides project management, stakeholder engagement and change management support to ensure initiatives are successfully implemented and deliver measurable benefits.

This will be a full-time, permanent position based in the Sydney George Street office, with flexibility to work from home.
