Job summary

K.Wright Practice is partnering with a technical services business in the Gosford region to lead a growing team and own service delivery, maintenance activities and projects for a diverse customer base. You’ll be responsible for budgets, resources and profitability while shaping how the operation runs and sharing in the results you help deliver.

This role offers leadership over electrical and mechanical trades, support from senior management, and the opportunity to influence future performance

Qualifications

• Experience managing people and budgets.
• Ability to plan workloads and protect margins.
• Background in water and wastewater, pumps, mechanical services, HVAC, plumbing, electrical contracting, oil and gas, mining services or industrial maintenance.
• Experience as Project Manager or Service/Maintenance Manager or Operations/Branch Manager with leadership responsibility; or business ownership with profitability experience.
• Qualifications welcomed, with equivalent industry experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate maintenance, field service and project activities
• Manage budgets, job costs, margins, forecasting and business performance
• Schedule labour, materials, equipment and subcontractors
• Lead recruitment, staff development and performance reviews
• Empower the Supervisor and tradespeople through clear expectations and effective delegation
• Maintain strong safety, quality and customer service standards
• Review scopes, estimates, quotations and variations
• Develop customer relationships and identify additional service opportunities
• Coordinate regional work and travel efficiently
