Job summary

Lendlease Corporation is seeking a Project Security Administrator for our Salisbury, SA project. You will manage the personnel security lifecycle, including pre-employment checks, vetting, clearance management and site access credentialing.

You will lead security activities, maintain registers, review contractor documentation, and ensure compliance across Defence and client requirements while supporting broader project administration and team needs.

Qualifications

• Baseline security clearance required or able to obtain.
• 3+ years of administrative experience, ideally in construction or defence.
• Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders incl. employees, subcontractors, clients and external agencies.
• Detail-oriented with experience maintaining registers, processing documentation, onboarding activities and producing reports.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

The Project Security Administrator is the administrative backbone of the project security function. This role manages the personnel security lifecycle - from pre-employment background checks through vetting, clearance management, and site access credentialing.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all personnel security activities for the project, including security clearances, site access approvals, onboarding, offboarding, and personnel security compliance.
• Maintain personnel security registers, oversee compliance with Defence, client, and organisational security requirements.
• Review contractor security documentation, monitor subcontractor compliance, and manage visitor access processes.
• Deliver site administration services, coordinate meetings and onboarding activities, manage office and PPE requirements, and support the broader project team.
• Maintain security incident logs and assist with investigations.

About You

• The ability to obtain and hold a Baseline Security Clearance and potentially higher.
• 3+ years of experience in administrative role preferably within a construction or defence environment.
• Proven ability to build relationships and work effectively with employees, subcontractors, clients, and external agencies.
• Highly developed attention to detail with experience maintaining registers, processing documentation, coordinating onboarding activities, and producing accurate reports.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide guidance.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
