Job summary

Lendlease is seeking a Senior Services Manager to join the South Australia team in Adelaide and lead the delivery of complex building services on a long-term project.

You will manage interface coordination across mechanical, electrical, fire and hydraulic services, oversee procurement and commissioning, and ensure safety and quality are maintained across all stages of the project.

Qualifications

• Government security clearance or ability to obtain one with support.
• Degree qualification in mechanical/electrical engineering or construction management.
• Experience on large-scale commercial construction projects with complex building services packages.
• Healthcare/Defence/Commercial/Government project experience is highly regarded.
• Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for multi-stakeholder environments.
• Proven experience driving client-focused outcomes and safety initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Manage the services design development and the services construction works within time, cost, quality and safety requirements of the Head Contract and LL procedures.
• Manage the interface requirements between services and building elements including design, coordination, approval, installation, and commissioning and completion requirements of all services disciplines with the project team.
• Lead the services procurement function.
• Initiate and implement the services completion and commissioning plan and coordinate with the overall project finalisation plan.
• Oversee programme and productivity management for all services trades.
• Liaise with Authorities for timely connection of all services (Water, Gas, Electricity, Telecommunications, sewer and stormwater).

We push boundaries and embrace challenges. We are currently seeking a Senior Services Manager to join our SA team and help lead the delivery of a long-term project in Adelaide. As a Services Manager with Lendlease, you'll be a key leader within the project team, and lead the delivery of the complex building services packages across the project, managing subcontractors and service suppliers to deliver work to a high standard. This includes developing and maintaining construction programs, implementing the procurement strategy, value engineering, managing quality and ensuring high levels of Health & Safety at all times. You will be responsible managing the interface requirements between services and building elements including design coordination, approval, installation, and commissioning and completion requirements of all services disciplines in conjunction with the project team.

Key Responsibilities

• Play a lead role in services procurement function.

About You

• Hold a Government Security clearance or have the ability to obtain one (we will support with this).
• Degree qualification in a relevant field of study (Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Construction Management related).
• Previous experience working on large scale commercial construction projects, where you have managed complex building services packages (mechanical, electrical, fire, and hydraulic).
• Experience working on Healthcare, Defence, Commercial, or Government projects will be highly regarded.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, which will be essential as you'll be managing multiple internal and external stakeholder groups.
• Proven experience driving client focused outcomes and safety initiatives.
