Job summary

L3Harris Australia (Integrated Mission Systems Australia) seeks a highly-motivated Project Scheduler to support critical Australian Defence Industry projects. You will develop, maintain, analyse and report on schedules to ensure on-time delivery and budget adherence, collaborating with PMO stakeholders.

The role involves creating WBS, ensuring schedule integrity, forecasting resources, and identifying continuous improvement opportunities. Australian citizenship is required for clearance.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications or significant scheduling experience.
• Familiarity with performance management systems.
• Defence industry experience preferred.
• Proven stakeholder engagement and management skills.

About the role

We are seeking a highly-motivated and detail-orientated Project Scheduler, looking to make their mark on some of the most high-profile and strategically critical Australian Defence Industry projects.

Through close collaboration with PMO stakeholders, the Project Scheduler will develop, maintain, analyse and report on key schedules, to support the delivery of critical projects on time and within budget.

As a project scheduling SME, your tasks may include but not be limited to producing work breakdown structures, maintaining schedule integrity through constant review and alignment with scope changes and variances, assisting in resource forecasting and reviewing processes and procedures to identify continuous improvement opportunities.

About you

To be successful in this role and to best leverage the opportunities provided by L3Harris, some skills & experience ideal applicants will bring include;

• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or significant scheduling experience.
• Familiarity with performance management systems
• Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and management skills
• Defence Industry experience preferred
• Proficiency with contemporary scheduling toolsets, OPP experience desired
