Job summary

Bechtel delivers large, complex projects worldwide and is expanding its Perth presence to support contract management activities for capital works in aviation, defence and energy infrastructure. This role sits in the Contract Management Team, developing Monthly Progress Reports, operating dashboards, and tracking performance against contractual obligations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent; 2–5 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint; Power BI a plus.
• Strong financial reporting skills and ability to analyze data for management insight.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation of project reporting packages, including Monthly Progress Reports and dashboards.
• Coordinate KPI tracking and reporting; monitor progress against targets.
• Administer Prime Contract daily activities; manage commercial assessments and log communications.
• Track budget, forecast hours, cashflow and staffing; maintain resource change registers.
• Maintain project risk and issues logs and support monthly risk reviews.
• Engage in client meetings; build trust through direct stakeholder engagement.
• Contribute to governance and continuous improvement efforts.
