Job summary

NSW Department of Communities and Justice’s CEI team in Homes NSW seeks a Project Officer to deliver digital transformation and service improvement for housing customers and staff from Parramatta, with a flexible in-office arrangement (minimum 50% in office).

You will engage stakeholders, manage projects, analyse data, and contribute to policy and process reforms, while supporting change management and training across teams. This role is temporarary full-time with a Clerk 7/8 salary range.

Qualifications

• Interest and/or experience in managing projects.
• Strong passion to improve the customer experience with an ability to identify areas for improvement.
• Ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
• Good decision making, problem solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to planning, design, coordination, implementation and evaluation of projects improving policies, processes and digital services.
• Apply housing knowledge and customer focus to identify opportunities for improvement and practical solutions.
• Research and analyse feedback and data to identify issues and opportunities for service and technology improvements.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation and governance artifacts.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and coordinate working groups and engagements.
• Collaborate with vendors and partners to support project outcomes and contract management.
• Support change management, communications and training materials for staff.
• Participate in testing, deployments and implementation activities with documentation of results.
