Job summary

Homes NSW, part of the Department of Communities and Justice, is seeking a Senior Project Officer in the Customer Experience and Innovation (CEI) team based in Parramatta with a minimum 50% in-office arrangement. The temporary, 35-hour-per-week role offers a competitive salary range and superannuation.

The role focuses on delivering digital transformation for housing customers and staff, including policy, process, and technology improvements, with opportunities to lead cross-functional projects

Qualifications

• Experience in project management and understanding of methodologies.
• Ability to initiate consultations with diverse stakeholders within agreed timelines.
• Experience managing deadlines and budgets for multiple complex projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for various audiences.
• Knowledge of social housing legislation, policy, process and procedure.
• Able to work independently in a busy hybrid team.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee project planning, development, implementation and evaluation.
• Identify opportunities and deliver improvements to policies, processes, systems and services.
• Develop business cases and implementation plans translating priorities into projects.
• Coordinate stakeholders and governance forums to support decision-making.
• Prepare reports, briefing materials and presentations for project delivery.
