Job summary

NSW Reconstruction Authority is offering multiple opportunities to support the delivery of infrastructure recovery projects across NSW. Roles are ongoing and temporary full-time (35 hrs/week), based in Parramatta/Sydney with a flexible/hybrid working environment.

We seek Project Officers to help repair, restore, and upgrade disaster-affected public and community assets, leveraging grants management to support critical infrastructure delivery.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in civil engineering / construction management or related fields and/or relevant knowledge and experience.

• Apply robust project management to monitor plans, and deliver outcomes on time, within budget, and in scope under tight deadlines and competing priorities.
• Manage delivery partners, engage key stakeholders, and coordinate working groups and committees to drive project completion.
• Analyse data and prepare project briefs to identify emerging issues and support informed decision-making.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and track progress against established milestones to ensure visibility and quality control.

• Clerk Grade 7/8; Salary relative to experience ($116,981 to $129,492 + super)

About The Role

The Reconstruction Delivery team is seeking diligent Project Officers to support built infrastructure recovery and reconstruction activities across NSW. In this role, you will help repair, restore, and upgrade disaster-affected public and community assets, leveraging your expertise including grants management to support these critical infrastructure projects.

• Apply robust project management to monitor plans, and deliver outcomes on time, within budget, and in scope under tight deadlines and competing priorities.


• Manage delivery partners, engage key stakeholders, and coordinate working groups and committees to drive project completion.


• Analyse data and prepare project briefs to identify emerging issues and support informed decision-making.


• Maintain accurate project documentation and track progress against established milestones to ensure visibility and quality control.


• Apply grants funding knowledge to plan and prepare for infrastructure delivery.

About You

You are results-driven individual who consistently delivers quality work on time. You bring a background in infrastructure projects or programs, equipping you to identify risks, assess viability and drive successful outcomes. It is key that you have experience and knowledge of infrastructure funding to support delivery outcomes and identify budget risks.

You are comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels and facilitating technical information into digestible strategic advice.

Essential Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in civil engineering / construction management or related fields and/or relevant knowledge and experience.
