Job summary

You will coordinate activities, monitor deliverables, manage risks, and ensure alignment with priorities and timeframes.

HOBAN Recruitment is partnering with a large Federal Government agency to recruit an experienced APS6 Project Officer to support the delivery of complex ICT and digital transformation initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised project professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across technical and business teams to drive project outcomes. Reporting to senior project leadership, you will play a key role in coordinating project activities, monitoring deliverables, supporting governance processes, managing risks and dependencies, and ensuring projects remain on track against agreed priorities and timeframes.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support the delivery of ICT project activities across a complex program environment.
• Maintain project plans, schedules, risk and issue registers, action logs and reporting documentation.

• Experience developing and maintaining project management artefacts and reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Sound judgement, initiative and problem-solving capability.
• Experience working within Federal Government or Agile project environments will be highly regarded.
