HOBAN Recruitment is partnering with a large Federal Government agency to recruit an experienced APS6 Project Officer to support the delivery of complex ICT and digital transformation initiatives.

This role is ideal for a highly organised project professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, coordinating activities across technical and business teams to drive outcomes, maintain governance, manage risks, and keep projects on track to meet priorities and timeframes.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting or coordinating projects within a complex ICT or digital delivery environment.
• Ability to develop and maintain project management artefacts and reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Sound judgement, initiative and problem-solving capability.
• Experience in Federal Government or Agile project environments is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support the delivery of ICT project activities across a complex program environment.
• Maintain project plans, schedules, risk/issue registers, action logs and reporting documentation.
• Prepare governance packs, meeting agendas, minutes and status reports.
• Monitor milestones and dependencies, escalating risks as required.
• Engage with stakeholders across business and technical teams.
• Support governance, planning and continuous improvement activities.
