Job summary

Johnson Controls in Sydney is seeking a Project Manager to join our security projects team. You will lead on-time, on-budget delivery, build strong customer relationships and drive initiatives to improve processes and safety in a fast-paced environment.

The role focuses on Security/EACs solutions with a strong emphasis on IT networking, electrical drawings, and customer service. It requires at least 2 years' post-qualification experience and a relevant electrical trade qualification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in Security / EACs post qualification.
• Strong background in Security / EACs solutions.
• Excellent written/report writing & verbal communications skills.
• Electrical trade qualification and understanding of electrical drawings.
• IT networking understanding.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and prepare project deliverables.
• Supply leadership and manage projects to meet requirements and budget.
• Regularly review project financial status.
• Ensure high quality and OH&S compliance.
• Manage customer/contractor relationships effectively.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Demonstrate professionalism, ethics and accuracy under deadlines.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our project team based in our Sydney office with a focus on Security Projects.

As a project manager you will be empowered to ensure flawless delivery in order to meet our customers' expectations and needs. This will include on time and on budget delivery of our many and varied projects.

You will build and maintain excellent customer relationships to ensure continued success. You will be looked upon for your organizational skills and technical innovation to help a fast‐paced team perform at the highest level.

Responsibilities Include

• Plan, coordinate and prepare project deliverables required to initiate, develop, and execute assigned projects.
• Supply leadership and manage projects to meet performance and project requirements.
• Ensure project financial status is regularly reviewed and updated.
• Ensure a high quality of work and compliance to OHS&E standards.
• Effectively manage customer/contractor relationships.
• Identify opportunities, improvements and solutions that will enable you to plan and drive continuous initiatives for organizational improvement.
• Demonstrate elevated levels of disciplined, professionalism, ethics, and accuracy in delivery of works under limited timeframe pressures.

What We Are Looking For
