Job summary

Arnold Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to own two significant safety initiatives for a major Victorian emergency services client. You will coordinate a Fitness for Role standard and drive a Systems Implementation, coordinating developers, testing, training and rollout.

The six-month fixed-term role requires proven delivery against deadlines, strong planning and stakeholder engagement, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams and external providers.

Qualifications

• Evidence of delivering projects to deadlines.
• Strong planning and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience coordinating complex operational projects or systems implementations.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and external providers.
• PRINCE2, PMBOK or PMP or equivalent experience.
• Not a safety specialist, but PM capable of delivering outcomes.
• Ability to establish plans, build momentum and deliver results within six months.

Two important projects. Six months to deliver. We're looking for someone who gets things done.

Our client, a major Victorian emergency services organisation, requires an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of two significant safety initiatives.

Project 1 – Fitness for Role

Coordinate the development of minimum health and fitness standards across operational and support roles, engaging stakeholders and subject matter experts.

Project 2 – Systems Implementation

Drive the implementation of an existing safety management database, coordinating the software developer, user testing, stakeholder engagement, training and operational rollout. The objective is to have both projects completed or substantially delivered within six months.

What You'll Bring

• Proven success delivering projects to agreed deadlines.
• Strong planning, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
• Experience coordinating systems implementation or complex operational projects.
• Confidence managing multiple workstreams and external providers.
• PRINCE2, PMBOK/PMP or equivalent experience highly regarded.
• You don't need to be a safety specialist.
• You do need to an experienced Project Manager who can establish a plan, build momentum and deliver outcomes.

Opportunity

Six-month, full-time fixed-term appointment.

VPS Grade 5 classification.

Hybrid working, 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely.
