xceltium in Sydney is seeking a Project Manager to join its PMO, delivering a varied portfolio of business, technology and operational initiatives for a large not-for-profit client. The role involves planning, implementation and closure across multiple projects.
You'll manage project plans, budgets and risks, collaborate with Sponsors, IT and external vendors, and help embed the Project Governance Framework with pragmatic delivery across diverse initiatives.
Great Project Management delivers outcomes. Here, those outcomes help an organisation change lives.
Our client is a large, established not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting people and communities experiencing disadvantage, vulnerability and hardship.
Behind every frontline service are the systems, processes and people that make its work possible. Improving how the organisation operates helps its teams deliver essential services to those who need them most.
An opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join its Project Management Office (PMO), delivering a varied portfolio of business, technology and operational initiatives.
The Opportunity
You'll manage multiple projects across business systems, process improvement and operational change, taking ownership from planning through to implementation and closure.
Working closely with a Senior Project Manager, you'll engage Project Sponsors, operational teams, IT and external vendors to coordinate delivery, resolve challenges and achieve agreed outcomes.
The organisation has recently introduced a Project Governance Framework. You'll help embed it through practical delivery, applying the right level of structure without unnecessary bureaucracy.
Technology will feature in many projects, but this isn't a technical Project Management role. You'll need the curiosity to understand unfamiliar systems and the judgement to involve the right specialists.
