Job summary

Blu Your Mind Pty Ltd on the Sunshine Coast region is seeking an experienced Project Manager & Nominee Supervisor to lead construction and development projects, oversee site operations, coordinate contractors and trades, and ensure delivery to plans, budgets and programs.

The role requires Open Builder Licence in Queensland and capability to act as Nominee Supervisor, with immediate availability and strong leadership and site management skills.

Construction & Property Development Company | Available Immediate

We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Project Manager & Nominee Supervisor to join our growing construction and property development company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of construction and development projects, managing site operations, coordinating contractors and trades, and ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with approved plans, specifications, budgets and programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Cost Optimisation

  • Review designs and identify opportunities for cost optimisation and value engineering.

  • Prepare, manage and monitor project budgets and costs.

  • Strong understanding of DA and BA approval processes.

• Project Management

  • Manage large-scale construction projects from planning through to completion.

  • Ability to manage projects independently and/or as part of a major construction company.

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

• Site Management

  • Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of the Company's construction and development sites.

  • Ensure sites are properly coordinated, organised and operating efficiently.

• People, Contractors & Suppliers

  • Manage and supervise Company employees and other site personnel.

  • Coordinate and supervise contractors, subcontractors, tradespeople and suppliers.

  • Ensure all parties understand and comply with project requirements, programs and specifications.

• Construction Progress & Quality

  • Monitor construction progress and ensure works are completed in accordance with project programs and deadlines.

  • Ensure construction is carried out in accordance with approved plans, drawings and specifications.

  • Identify and manage delays, defects, construction issues and other project risks.

• Project Management Systems

  • Experience using Procore Project Management System.

  • Maintain accurate project records, documentation, progress updates and project reporting.

• Licensing

  • Hold a current Open Builder Licence in Queensland.

  • Ability to act as the Company's Nominee Supervisor.

• Open Builder Licence and Nominee Supervisor experience required.
