Recruitment in Newcastle, Australia seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead multi‑state contractor projects in Defence, Industrial and Commercial sectors. Role offers long‑term growth, diverse project exposure and relocation appeal.

You will manage projects end‑to‑end, ensure HSECQ and cost control, coordinate subcontractors, lead meetings, and provide technical guidance while engaging clients and stakeholders for successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing construction projects for a contractor.

• Leadership skills and safety‑first mindset.
• Interest in operations and business development.
• Tertiary engineering qualification (or similar).
• Construction White Card & driver licence.
• Ability to obtain Police Clearance (Defence project requirement).

Looking to make the move across the ditch? An established, multi-state contractor with a strong pipeline across Defence, Industrial and Commercial sectors is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their Newcastle team.

The Initial Project

• Heritage building - Heritage experience welcomed
• Located in a blue‑chip suburb with strong community visibility
• Approx. $5M value

Beyond this, you'll lead commercial, remedial and high‑rise residential works up to $20M, including refurbishments, repairs, remediation, demolition and upgrade projects.
What You'll Be Doing
