Job summary

CCS Group in Canberra is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead mechanical installations within our HVAC division. You will own end-to-end delivery from contract award through handover and defect liability period, across a mix of smaller fit-outs and large-scale commercial projects.

Reporting to the GM – Construction, you’ll manage scope, scheduling, cost control, documentation, and stakeholder engagement while upholding WHS and quality standards on Canberra sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience delivering commercial HVAC projects in medium to large-scale buildings.
• White Card
• Asbestos Awareness & Working with ACMs
• Current Drivers Licence

Responsibilities

• End-to-end project management from contract award through final handover and DLP close-out.
• Manage project scope, programming/scheduling, and milestone tracking.
• Oversee project financials, cost control, and reporting.
• Handle variations and maintain documentation.
• Stakeholder and client management across a diverse project portfolio.
• Ensure WHS, environmental and quality compliance on site.

Project Manager - Mechanical Installations

CCS Group is a 100% locally owned Canberra business, established in 2002 and trusted across the region for the delivery of commercial HVAC solutions. For more than two decades, we've built lasting relationships with our clients through consistent, high-quality project delivery.

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Mechanical Installations team. This role suits someone who takes ownership of their projects, delivers to a high standard, and is confident managing the full lifecycle of commercial HVAC installations.

The Role

This is end-to-end project management - contract award through to final handover and DLP close-out. You'll run your own projects across a broad range of sizes and complexity, from smaller fit-outs through to large-scale commercial installations.

You'll report to the GM – Construction and take full ownership of:

• WHS, environmental, and quality compliance
• Project financials, cost control, and reporting
• Scope definition and management
• Programming, scheduling, and milestone tracking
• Variations and documentation
• Stakeholder and client management

What We're Looking For

A PM who can manage their own workload, is organised, commercially aware, and confident enough to make decisions and back them.

You'll need:

• Minimum 5 years' experience delivering commercial HVAC projects in medium to large-scale buildings
• White Card
• Asbestos Awareness & Working with ACMs
• Current Drivers Licence
• Experience with Procore is a plus, but not essential.

This is a site-based role across Canberra and the surrounding region.
