Job summary

Coldflow Airconditioning is seeking a Project Manager for its Non-EBA Commercial sector, based in Clayton, Melbourne. You will interpret drawings, coordinate with builders and drafters, and liaise with site managers, installers and contractors for planning, purchasing and scheduling equipment.

A strong HVAC PM background and leadership are essential. You will manage projects between $6–$8 million, ensuring quality, safety, and on-time delivery while driving supplier relationships and forecasting

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a HVAC PM or similar role.
• Managed project portfolios ranging from $6–$8 million.
• Detailed understanding of construction processes in light commercial or EBA sectors.
• Strong leadership with effective stakeholder management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate designs with Builders and Drafters.
• Liaise with Site Managers, Installers and Contractors for planning, purchasing and scheduling equipment.
• Prepare material and equipment take offs.
• Cross-check schedules and shop drawings for discrepancies.
• Generate RFQs, research products and pricing.

The Coldflow Group are growing their Commercial Teams with opportunities to join their Non-EBA sector as a Project Manager based out of our Clayton office.

You will be responsible for interpreting drawings and specifications, coordinating designs with builders and drafters, and liaising with site managers, installers and contractors for planning, purchasing and scheduling of equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinating designs with Builders and Drafters.
• Liaising with Site Managers, Installers and Contractors for planning, purchasing and scheduling of equipment.
• Material and equipment take offs.
• Cross checking schedules and shop drawings for discrepancies.
• Generating RFQ's, research products and pricing.
• Updating equipment schedules and engineering data to reflect current equipment and program.
• Providing equipment forecasts for new projects ensuring suppliers are kept aware of upcoming orders and demand.
• Project reporting and Margin analysis on jobs under management.
• Managing the quality and safety across all projects.

About you

• A minimum of 2 years' experience as a HVAC PM or similar role or
• Willing to consider an experienced Site Foreman who is ready for their next step.
• Managed project portfolios ranging from $6-$8 million.
• A detailed understanding of construction processes within the light commercial or EBA sector, including systems and HVAC detailing.
• Strong leadership capability with effective stakeholder management skills.
• Well rounded written and verbal communication skills.
