Londinium Recruitment is working with an established Australian construction company to appoint a Project Manager for a $30m, seven storey social housing development in Brisbane.

This is an opportunity to take the experience you have built on major UK residential schemes and use it to lead a substantial project in Queensland. You will join with a clear project to deliver, a salary of $180,000-$200,000 plus superannuation, and sponsorship available for the right candidate.

With Brisbane preparing to host the 2032 Olympic Games, it is an exciting time to make the move and establish yourself in the Australian construction market.

The role:

You will lead the delivery of a seven storey social housing scheme, taking responsibility for the programme, site operations, quality and coordination of the wider project team. Working closely with the client, consultants, commercial team and subcontractors, you will keep the project moving from construction through to completion and handover.

You will be trusted to make decisions, resolve challenges and set the standard on site. The role needs someone who can see the bigger picture while staying close enough to the detail to spot issues early and keep delivery on track.

Beyond the scale of the build, this is a project with a purpose. The homes you help deliver will make a difference to people in Brisbane.

Who we are looking for:

You must come from a Tier 1 contractor in the UK and have delivered multi residential projects. That background is central to this appointment.

We would like to speak with Project Managers who can demonstrate:

• Experience delivering apartment buildings or comparable multi storey residential schemes
• Strong programme management and the ability to drive progress on site
• Confidence managing site teams, subcontractors, consultants and client relationships
• A sound understanding of budgets, procurement, variations and commercial priorities
• High standards across safety, quality and handover
• The ability to take ownership of a project and lead people through the challenges of delivery

Australian experience is not essential. We are looking for the right UK Tier 1 residential background and someone who is serious about making Brisbane their next move.
