About UNSW

UNSW isn’t like other places you’ve worked. Yes, we’re a large organisation with a diverse and talented community; a community doing extraordinary things. Together, we are driven to be thoughtful, practical, and purposeful in all we do. Taking this combined approach is what makes our work matter. This role sits within Conduct and Integrity, which handles serious complaints, misconduct, investigation issues, and providing education and prevention strategies to foster respect and integrity across UNSW.

Why your Role Matters

This is more than a project management role. It’s an opportunity to help shape how UNSW listens, responds, learns and improves when complaints and misconduct arise. Working within Conduct and Integrity, you’ll help turn policy and process reform into practical improvements that strengthen trust, fairness and accountability across the University. Reporting to the Deputy Director, you’ll work with stakeholders across UNSW to deliver projects that improve complaints management, investigations and integrity-related practices. If you enjoy bringing clarity to complexity, building strong relationships and delivering meaningful change, this role offers the opportunity to make a real impact.

Skills & Experience summary:
  • Demonstrated project and change management experience, alongside Prince2 certification, Australian Institute of Project Management or equivalent.
  • Ability to engage and build and manage professional relationships with multiple stakeholders with often competing priorities.
  • An advisory approach with strong communication and influencing skills to implement changes and process improvements.
  • High emotional intelligence to advise on sensitive matters.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail for deliverables produced.
  • Strong research, business and data analysis skills, with the ability to translate and communicate complex concepts in a simple way.
  • Demonstrated success working autonomously and effectively on initiatives with a range of people at different levels within a service delivery unit and across an organisation.
