Job summary

Enertia Talent is seeking a Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of utility-scale BESS and HV substation projects in Sydney. You will oversee planning, construction, commissioning, and handover, coordinating Project Engineers, SME engineers and site resources to meet delivery objectives.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil or Electrical Engineering degree with proven PM experience across budgets, schedules, procurement and risk, and a strong ability to manage client and stakeholder

About Your New Employer:

This opportunity is with a leading energy infrastructure organisation delivering utility scale renewable energy and high voltage infrastructure projects across Australia.

About Your New Role:

As the Project Manager, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of utility scale BESS and HV substation projects, from planning through construction, commissioning, whole plant testing and handover.

You will lead a team of Project Engineers, SME engineers and site resources, managing project schedules, budgets, subcontractors and stakeholder relationships to ensure successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of utility scale BESS and HV substation projects from planning through construction, commissioning and handover
• Lead and coordinate Project Engineers, SME engineers and site resources to achieve project delivery objectives
• Manage project budgets, schedules, resources, risks and contractual obligations
• Coordinate civil, electrical, construction and commissioning teams, resolving technical and delivery issues
• Manage subcontractors, consultants, clients and internal stakeholders while overseeing procurement, cost forecasting and commercial performance

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

• Civil or Electrical Engineering degree required
• Proven experience delivering utility scale BESS and/or HV/EHV substation projects through construction, commissioning and handover
• Strong project management experience across budgets, schedules, subcontractors, procurement and commercial risk
• Demonstrated ability to lead Project Engineers, technical specialists and site teams while managing client and stakeholder relationships
• Experience across both BESS and HV/EHV substation projects will be highly regarded
