Job summary

Brock Solutions is seeking a Project Manager – Automation Software to join our team of experienced professionals. You will lead real-time automation projects for industrial and manufacturing clients, coordinating with software developers and other stakeholders to deliver on-time solutions.

The ideal candidate has a university degree or diploma in CS/engineering/automation and 3+ years in software/IT project management, with strong communication and cloud experience. Travel ~30% is required.

Qualifications

Working with other highly motivated developers , you will take on a project manager role, implementing real time automation solutions in a critical operational capacity.

Responsibilities:

Communication: Managing the clients’ expectations and communicating needs to the project team

Managing scope internally (within project team) and externally (with client)

Financial responsibility on projects between $100k and $ 5 M

Managing resource assignments and utilization for all assigned resources

Creation and management of project schedules

Ensure harmonious working relationships with key partners

Identify risks/roadblocks and work with the teams to mitigate them for successful completion of the project

Qualifications Required:

University Degree or College Diploma in a relevant field of study (Computer S cience, Engineering , Automation, or related fields)

3+ years’ experience in a Project Management role in Software/IT projects

Experience/exposure to the following technologies: C#, .NET, SQL Server, Network Design, Virtualized Environments , and Microsoft Azure/Cloud Computing

Experience implementing real-time software solutions in a critical operational capacity

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Ability to work effectively in a team-based project environment

Experience with Microsoft Office

Must be customer focused and action oriented

Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines

This position does require travel (approximately 30%)
