Working with other highly motivated Engineers, you will be involved with designing, programming, integrating, troubleshooting, and supporting new and existing automated controls systems.

Responsibilities

• Onsite presence at Brisbane Airport (BNE), Monday – Friday, regular office hours.
• Providing problem resolutions and technical solutions to operational issues.
• Working alongside the airport to inform on day-to-day operations with industry expertise.
• Apply the latest innovations in data analytics to decision making and execution.
• Focus on system optimization and performance tuning, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including analysts and software engineers, to integrate data solutions into business applications.
• Site coordination responsibilities
• Managing expectations and communication with customer
• Coordinating with a global operations team for incident support escalation and support of software system upgrades.
• Supporting the project teams in daily activities

Qualifications

• Customer‑focused mindset
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong organizational skills, with an adaptable and action‑oriented approach
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Preferred Assets

• Programming skills in Ladder Logic or languages such as C, C#, VBA, SQL, or others
• Familiarity with PLCs (e.g. ControlLogix, Modicon, Siemens S7, Omron)
• Familiarity with SCADAs (e.g. Ignition, FactoryTalk View)
• Experience implementing real‑time solutions
• Familiarity with IT/Networking and database application
• Experience with BHS system operations
• Ability to read electrical schematics
