Automation Project Manager

Base pay range

A$100,000.00/yr - A$131,000.00/yr

Key responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of process automation projects to the client
• Ensure project falls within planned schedule and cost
• Track and report project progress
• Manage project scope, changes and deliverables
• Defining project-oriented approaches and ensuring execution knowledge
• Chair meetings with clients

Required skills & experience

• Experience in industrial process control/automation systems to manage technical projects
• Must have previous project management experience within automation
• Pharmaceutical background is ideal; will consider food & beverage or other highly regulated industries
• Manage all aspects of a project including scope & deliverables, cost management, stakeholder management, risk, resourcing and project scheduling
• Demonstrable track record leading a team of software engineers
• Strong communication skills, technically switched on
• Previous exposure to Siemens PCS7 or Rockwell Allen Bradley systems is advantageous
• Automation/Software/Controls Engineering Degree of Study
