Aurecon is actively seeking experienced project managers to join our Project Delivery Services team for Defence projects across Australia. You’ll own allocated projects, lead multidisciplinary teams, and ensure safe, on-time delivery within budget and high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Requires tertiary qualification or demonstrated professional experience coordinating people and projects.
• Experience managing small to medium-sized projects.
• Strong project management, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with project controls including cost and schedule management.
• Understanding of quality assurance, risk management and contract management.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and WHS.

Aurecon is looking for experienced project managers to join our Project Delivery Services (PDS) team, supporting the delivery of important projects for Defence across Australia.

As a Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of allocated projects and work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful outcomes for our clients. You’ll coordinate internal teams, consultants, contractors and stakeholders, manage project risks and issues, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to the required quality standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll Ideally Have

• Tertiary qualification or demonstrated relevant professional experience such as coordinating people, projects, programs, events, or community initiatives
• Experience managing small to medium-sized projects.
• Strong project management, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with project controls, including cost and schedule management.
• An understanding of quality assurance, risk management and contract management.
• A demonstrated commitment to safety and WHS.
• The ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary, matrix environment.
• Project management certification or relevant professional recognition is desirable.

Defence experience is desirable but not essential. Familiarity with Defence security requirements, contract administration or commercial management would be advantageous.
