Job summary

Aurecon is seeking experienced project managers to join our Project Delivery Services team, delivering Defence projects across Australia. You will own allocated projects, coordinate internal teams, consultants and contractors, and ensure safe, on-time, on-budget delivery with the required quality.

You will lead planning to delivery, manage risks, engage stakeholders and maintain clear communication. A collaborative, practical approach in a matrix environment is valued, with defence exposure

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification or demonstrated relevant professional experience such as coordinating people, projects, programs, events, or community initiatives.
• Experience managing small to medium-sized projects.
• Strong project management, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with project controls, including cost and schedule management.
• An understanding of quality assurance, risk management and contract management.
• A demonstrated commitment to safety and WHS.
• The ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary, matrix environment.
• Project management certification or relevant professional recognition is desirable., Defence experience is desirable but not essential. Familiarity with Defence security requirements, contract administration or commercial management would be advantageous.

Aurecon is looking for experienced project managers to join our Project Delivery Services (PDS) team, supporting the delivery of important projects for Defence across Australia.

As a Project Manager, you'll take ownership of allocated projects and work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful outcomes for our clients. You'll coordinate internal teams, consultants, contractors and stakeholders, manage project risks and issues, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to the required quality standards.
