Job summary

NSW Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development is seeking an experienced Project/Construction Manager to deliver a diverse portfolio of building, and community infrastructure projects across the Illawarra and South Coast. You will lead a small team of project managers, overseeing scope, programme, risk and commercial performance—while advising clients.

• Experience managing multiple projects with defined time, cost and quality outcomes across all stages of a project’s lifecycle.
• Experience in design management, contract administration, procurement, and delivery risk management.
• Strong communication skills to engage diverse client groups and community stakeholders.
• Commitment to professional integrity, teamwork and strong work ethic.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications (architecture/engineering/construction/project management).
• Experience in building construction, civil or similar infrastructure.
• A valid NSW Driver Licence and willingness to travel to project sites across the region (including occasional overnight stays).
