SAGE Automation, a Tetra Tech company and part of the SAGE Group, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead major engineering projects in Victoria or Tasmania. You will deliver complex automation and electrical projects, manage scope, timeline and budget, and coordinate stakeholders across diverse sectors.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV or Diploma of Project Management or similar.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in project management, ideally within automation/electrical engineering.
• Knowledge of good project management methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Accreditation with AIPM or PMI desirable.
• Current unrestricted Australian Work Rights.

Responsabilités

• Deliver complex projects and ensure objectives are achieved on time and within budget.
• Support and deliver assigned projects, meeting milestones and maintaining schedule baselines.
• Prioritise resources across your portfolio and manage multiple projects.
• Develop and manage stakeholder relationships, providing timely updates and resolving issues.
• Raise cost variations for approvals by the customer and maintain project governance.

Located in either VIC or TAS, we are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the market leader and work on some of the largest engineering projects across the region.

In this role:

• You will have proven ability to successfully deliver complex projects
• You will be accountable for supporting and delivering assigned projects, ensuring the project's objectives are achieved, completed on time and within budget.
• Using your skills and technical knowledge, you will support and manage a variety of projects, prioritising resources across your portfolio.
• You will develop and manage key stakeholder relationships and engagement to provide timely updates and promptly resolve project issues.
• You will meet the milestones and time constraints of the projects, maintaining an up-to-date schedule with milestones, work breakdown structure and tasks, raising cost variations for approval by the customer.

Skills and experience:

• Certificate IV or Diploma of Project Management or similar.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in project management, ideally within automation/electrical engineering.
• You will have demonstrable knowledge of good project management methodologies.
• You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Accreditation with the Australian Institute of Project Management or Project Management Institute is desirable.
• You must have current unrestricted Australian Work Rights.
