Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Project Manager/Consultant to deliver mid-scale capital works, fitouts and refurbishments across diverse sectors. You will report to the National Director and coordinate with clients, consultants and contractors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with strong governance and stakeholder engagement.

The role emphasizes end-to-end project management, schedule and budget control, and collaboration with a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Degree in PM, CM or Building Surveying or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a project management role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from planning through to completion.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets and reporting.
• Coordinate consultants, contractors and suppliers.
• Support procurement and contract administration activities.

Working across a diverse portfolio of capital works and fitout projects, you will support the delivery of projects across commercial, industrial, retail, education, defense and government sectors. This role offers exposure to a broad range of projects including fitouts, refurbishments, building upgrades, maintenance programs and new developments, while working alongside experienced industry professionals in a collaborative and high-performing environment.

Job Description Australian Citizenship is mandatory for this position due to client and project requirements.

About the Role

Reporting to the National Director, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of medium-scale projects, ensuring delivery within agreed scope, budget, program and quality requirements. You will work closely with clients, consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders to successfully coordinate project delivery while maintaining strong governance, communication and stakeholder management throughout the project lifecycle.

About You

• Degree qualified in Project Management, Construction Management, Building Surveying or a related discipline
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a project management role within the construction or property industry
• Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies and project controls
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and MS Project
• Working towards or holding industry qualifications such as AIPM, PMP, RICS or similar is highly regarded
