Job summary

KONE are seeking a Project Manager to join our New Building Solutions Team in Mascot, NSW. This role will administer and control projects across Sydney, coordinating resources, engaging with customers, and motivating project teams to achieve successful outcomes.

Key responsibilities include maintaining safety targets, communicating with customers and subcontractors, supporting site managers during escalations, and managing budgets and forecasts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience delivering construction projects.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications desirable (Construction Management, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering).
• Lift industry experience desirable.
• Experience managing a high volume of projects simultaneously.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with a track record of delivering outcomes.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.

• Achieve KONE's safety targets by developing a safety focused culture, ensuring adherence to clearly defined procedures and guidelines.
• Effectively communicate with customers and subcontractors throughout the installation process.
• Support site managers and provide leadership during project escalations.
• Manage project financials, budgets, forecasting, and reporting.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives across the delivery function.

What are we looking for?

• 5+ years’ experience in delivering construction projects.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications highly desirable (i.e. Construction Management, Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering).
• Lift industry experience desired.
• Experience managing a high volume of projects at one time.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with a track record of building trusted relationships and driving successful outcomes.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Valid Australian driver’s license.
