Balance Recruitment and Balance Consulting is partnering with a highly regarded NSW organisation to hire a Senior Project Manager in Sydney Olympic Park. You will lead two pivotal data projects, delivering a Unified Data Management Framework and governance structures to drive data maturity across the enterprise.

The role is a 6-month contract (possible 12 months) with a hybrid working pattern (minimum three days onsite).

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing enterprise data, analytics, or information management initiatives.
• Strong skills in project management across strategy, design, and delivery phases.
• Proven ability to create structure and momentum within emerging or low-maturity environments.
• Experience developing governance frameworks, operating models, and business transformations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication from frontline staff to executives.

Our client, a much loved and highly regarded organisaion that spans New South Wales, is seeking a Senior Project Manager. Based in Sydney Olympic Park, this role requires an experienced professional to lead two pivotal data projects that shape the organisation's future operational capabilities.

The successful candidate will spearhead the refinement and implementation of a Unified Data Management Framework, establishing governance structures and driving enterprise-wide adoption to enhance data maturity. They will then also look to leverage the new data frameworkto ensure aligning resource is well aligned risk & needs, through advanced analytics and AI-enabled capabilities.

This position offers a hybrid working arrangement with a minimum of three days onsite, running on a 6 month contract (possibly 12mths). It is ideal for a project manager passionate about data, adept at navigating complex stakeholder environments, and experienced in bridging business requirements with technical delivery teams.

• Exposure to AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics.
• Experience collaborating with enterprise architects and solution design teams.
• Background in government, or large operational organisations is a plus.
