Department of Creative Industries, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport in Sydney is seeking a Project Manager to lead high-priority strategic initiatives, delivering across AI enablement, information management uplift and data-driven projects. The role is based in Sydney CBD with hybrid arrangements and is a full-time temporary position for up to 12 months as a Clerk Grade 9/10.

Job description

  • Exciting opportunity to join the Cyber Strategic Delivery & Performance Team within of the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport
  • This is a Clerk Grade 9/10 with a salary range of $133,348 - $146,945 per annum plus superannuation
  • Full-time temporary role (up to 12 months) based in Sydney CBD, hybrid working arrangements may be available within business operational needs
About The Role

The Project Manager will play a key role in delivering high-priority strategic initiatives that support the department's transformation and operational excellence agenda. The role is responsible for driving projects across AI enablement, information management uplift, records management, corporate planning and data-related initiatives, while providing project management expertise across a range of emerging and strategic priorities.

As part of a newly established team, the role offers a unique opportunity to help shape ways of working, project governance and delivery approaches from the ground up. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in an evolving environment, building capability, establishing relationships across the department and contributing to the development of a high-performing strategic delivery function.
