Bluestonerecruitment is partnered with a mid-tier project management consultancy in Sydney to hire an experienced Project Manager. You will deliver a diverse range of projects from inception through to completion, including residential developments, commercial fit-outs and capital projects.

You will manage programmes, budgets and procurement, coordinate consultants and contractors, and work directly with clients to understand requirements, providing strong project management guidance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in project management, construction, architecture or quantity surveying.
• Proven ability to deliver projects from inception to completion.
• Strong client and stakeholder management with senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, organisation and commercial skills.
• Experience in development, construction, fit-out or capital projects.

About the Company

We have partnered with this client for over 10 years and are confident to recommend them as an employer of choice. This group are a well established and growing mid-tier project management consultancy with a strong presence in the Australian market. They provide project management and advisory services across a diverse range of development and capital projects, working closely with developers, investors, asset owners and other key project stakeholders.

The business has a strong and established project pipeline, with work spanning residential development, commercial fit-outs, capital projects and other major property and construction projects. This provides the opportunity to work across different sectors, project types and stages of the development lifecycle, rather than being limited to one particular asset class.

The team is stable, with low staff turnover and a collaborative working environment. Leadership is accessible and supportive, with an open-door approach and a genuine interest in developing the people within the business.

With continued growth and further projects coming through, they are looking to add an experienced Project Manager to their team. About the Role

As a Project Manager, you will take responsibility for delivering a diverse range of projects from inception through to completion.

The role will provide exposure to a broad project portfolio, including apartment developments, commercial fit-outs, capital projects and other development and construction projects. You will work across different project stages and have the opportunity to take ownership of projects while working closely with clients and senior stakeholders.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing projects from inception through to completion.
• Managing project programmes, budgets, procurement and project delivery.
• Coordinating consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders.
• Working directly with clients to understand project requirements and provide project management advice.
• Managing project risks, variations, budgets and key delivery issues.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.

Experience Required

• 3+ years' experience within project management, construction, architecture, quantity surveying
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, Property or a related discipline.
• Proven experience managing projects from inception through to completion.
• Experience across development, construction, fit-out or capital projects.
• Strong understanding of project delivery, construction processes and project controls.
• Strong client and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to deal directly with senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, organisation and commercial skills.
• Previous consultancy experience is highly regarded.
