Job summary

Bluestonerecruitment partners with an established mid-tier project management consultancy in Australia to place a Project Manager in Sydney. You will deliver a broad range of apartment developments, commercial fit-outs, and capital projects from inception to completion.

You will manage programmes, budgets, procurement, and coordinate consultants and contractors, while engaging directly with clients and senior stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience within project management, construction, or related fields.
• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, Property or related discipline.
• Proven ability to manage projects from inception through to completion.

About the Company

This group are a well established and growing mid-tier project management consultancy with a strong presence in the Australian market. They provide project management and advisory services across a diverse range of development and capital projects, working closely with developers, investors, asset owners and other key project stakeholders.

The business has a strong and established project pipeline, with work spanning residential development, commercial fit-outs, capital projects and other major property and construction projects. This provides the opportunity to work across different sectors, project types and stages of the development lifecycle, rather than being limited to one particular asset class.

The team is stable, with low staff turnover and a collaborative working environment. Leadership is accessible and supportive, with an open-door approach and a genuine interest in developing the people within the business.

With continued growth and further projects coming through, they are looking to add an experienced Project Manager to their team. About the Role

As a Project Manager, you will take responsibility for delivering a diverse range of projects from inception through to completion.

The role will provide exposure to a broad project portfolio, including apartment developments, commercial fit-outs, capital projects and other development and construction projects. You will work across different project stages and have the opportunity to take ownership of projects while working closely with clients and senior stakeholders.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing projects from inception through to completion.
• Managing project programmes, budgets, procurement and project delivery.
• Coordinating consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders.
• Working directly with clients to understand project requirements and provide project management advice.
• Managing project risks, variations, budgets and key delivery issues.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.

Experience Required

• 3+ years' experience within project management, construction, architecture, quantity surveying
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, Property or a related discipline.
• Proven experience managing projects from inception through to completion.
• Experience across development, construction, fit-out or capital projects.
• Strong understanding of project delivery, construction processes and project controls.
• Strong client and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to deal directly with senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, organisation and commercial skills.
• Previous consultancy experience is highly regarded.
