Bedrock Workforce is sourcing Project Managers across civil, commercial and residential construction to join permanent roles in Sydney and NSW. You will own projects end to end, manage programmes and budgets, and oversee subcontractors and approvals. The role suits those with strong delivery experience and a solid WHS framework.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in civil, commercial or residential construction.
• Track record delivering projects within relevant sector value ranges.
• Strong commercial skills: budgets, cost control, variations and contract administration (AS2124 / AS4000 / HIA / MBA contracts as relevant).
• Solid understanding of WHS legislation, NCC/Australian Standards and authority approvals.
• Tertiary construction qualification; White Card and driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Managing projects end to end from award through handover.
• Developing programmes, budgets, cost reports and cash flow forecasts.
• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and consultants.
• Managing variations, EOTs, progress claims and contract administration.
• Leading site teams and ensuring WHS, quality and environmental compliance.
• Liaising with clients, consultants and stakeholders; reporting and site meetings.

Project Managers – Civil | Commercial | Residential

Bedrock Workforce is looking for Project Managers across civil, commercial and residential construction to join a range of our clients on permanent roles throughout Sydney and NSW. Our clients range from tier 2 and 3 builders to specialist civil contractors and quality residential builders. They have strong pipelines and want PMs who can take ownership of a project and deliver it on time, on budget and safely.

Whether your background is roads, drainage and subdivisions, fit-outs and mid-rise commercial, or high-end homes and multi-res, we have roles that match your experience.

What you'll be doing

• Managing projects end to end, from contract award and pre-start through to completion and handover
• Developing and managing programmes, budgets, cost reports and cash flow forecasts
• Engaging, coordinating and managing subcontractors, suppliers and consultants
• Managing variations, EOTs, progress claims and contract administration
• Leading site teams and ensuring WHS, quality and environmental compliance
• Acting as the main point of contact for clients, consultants and stakeholders, including reporting and site meetings

What you'll need

• Proven experience as a Project Manager (or a strong Senior CA / Site Manager ready to step up) in civil, commercial or residential construction
• A track record delivering projects in the relevant value range for your sector
• Strong commercial skills: budgets, cost control, variations and contract administration (AS2124 / AS4000 / HIA / MBA contracts as relevant)
• Solid understanding of WHS legislation, NCC/Australian Standards and relevant authority approvals
• Proficiency with programming and project software (MS Project, Procore, Aconex, Buildxact or similar)
• Construction-related tertiary qualification highly regarded; White Card and current driver's licence essential
