Job summary

Bedrock Workforce is seeking Construction Managers across residential, commercial, and civil sectors to lead projects from pre-construction to handover in Sydney. We partner with builders and contractors across residential, commercial fits, and major civil works.

Applicants should demonstrate delivery on time and on budget with strong leadership, WHS compliance, and contract knowledge. A White Card and a valid driver’s licence are required, with a relevant degree or trade background highly

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Construction Manager or Senior Project Manager in residential, commercial or civil construction.
• Strong track record delivering projects on time and on budget.
• Solid knowledge of contracts, programming, cost management and WHS.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Construction White Card and a valid driver’s licence.
• Relevant degree or trade background in construction, building or PM (highly regarded).

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover.
• Oversee programs, budgets, cost control and variations.
• Lead site managers, supervisors, subcontractors and site teams.
• Drive a strong safety culture and ensure WHS/quality standards.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders.
• Manage procurement, contracts and reporting.
• Resolve onsite issues to keep projects moving.

Bedrock Workforce is looking for Construction Managers across three industries: residential, commercial and civil construction. We work with builders and contractors in each of these sectors. Whether your background is in high-end homes and multi-residential, commercial fit-outs and builds, or roads, drainage and infrastructure, we want to hear from you. If you've worked across more than one, even better.

What you'll be doing

• Managing projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover
• Overseeing programs, budgets, cost control and variations
• Leading site managers, supervisors, subcontractors and site teams
• Driving a strong safety culture and making sure work meets WHS and quality requirements
• Building and keeping relationships with clients, consultants, authorities and stakeholders
• Managing procurement, contracts and reporting
• Solving problems on site and keeping the project moving

What you'll need

• Proven experience as a Construction Manager or Senior Project Manager in residential, commercial or civil construction
