The role welcomes applicants from domestic flooring into commercial, with responsibilities from quoting and subcontractor management to site inspections and cost variances. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential, with support including a company vehicle and latest tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the flooring industry (domestic or commercial)
• Excellent attention to detail
• Exceptional customer relationship skills
• Critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Good computer skills
• Ability to effectively prioritise workload
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, installers and sub-contractors
• White Card
• Valid Drivers License

Our client provides expert technical advice, design, supply and installation of all types of carpet, vinyl and timber flooring that meets the rigorous demands of commercial facilities. They provide the right flooring to suit each client's individual requirements.

In this position the successful applicant will be managing all aspects of each project for the Melbourne region, ensuring they are delivered on time and exceed client's expectations.

Our client is willing to consider applicants with experience in the domestic flooring industry who are interested in moving into the commercial side of flooring.
